Donald Sterling Banned For Life From NBA

Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million after the offensive Los Angeles Clippers owner was recorded on tape making racially charged remarks.

Adam Silver, the NBA commissioner, announced his decision on Tuesday.

Silver also claimed he will do everything in his power to force a sale of the team.

Just in case you have missed it, Sterling, 80, was heard making insulting comments about race to his mistress V. Stiviano.

The tape led to criticism from President Obama, Lil Wayne, Oprah, Snoop Dogg and other celebrities demanding a boycott and action by the NBA.

On Tuesday, the Clippers will play their first home game since the racism scandal emerged.
